醫療社會學專題討論

上課地點：社會系館318教室 上課時間：週一上午9:10pm—12:10pm
約談時間：週二2:00pm—4:00pm，社會系館313室（其他時間約談，請事先約定）

課程目標 |
這門針對研究所學生所設計的專題討論，著力介紹批判取向的醫療/健康社會學核心概念與議
題，以知識、身體與權力為主軸，並強調「科技與社會」（Science, Technology and Society, STS）角度。在選文與分析概念上，除了介紹英語世界文獻的重要著作，也著重透過台灣和東亞研究挖掘重要的在地題材與理論創新。其中，我們將透過Sarah Nettleton所撰寫的The Sociology of Health and Illness, 3rd edition（2013年出版），掌握當今醫療/健康社會學的基本輪廓，並透過經典著作的選讀，強化理論與現象的扣合。這門課期許同學能夠豐富研究健康與社會的分析工具箱，培養獨立研究的能力。上課將藉由研究案例的討論與期末報告的執行，討論進行相關研究的方式。

課程要求 |
這門課要求每位參與者事先詳細閱讀必讀資料，並於上課前準備好一至兩頁的心得報告，至少在課前一天晚上六點上傳到ceiba課程網站上的作業區。上課以及相關研討活動，也希望同學積極參與，共同經營。這門課的評分方式為課堂參與（每週小報告、上課討論、研討會參與等）50%，期末研究報告50％。 |
